Our Memorial Service Options are Available All Year
Attended Memorial Service
A private offshore ceremony for up to six guests, allowing family and close friends to gather together on the water. We travel three miles offshore for scattering and provide time for readings, reflection, and personal moments in a peaceful setting.
Unattended Memorial Service
For families who prefer a private release without attending in person, we carry out the offshore scattering with dignity and care. You receive documentation, photos or video, and a certificate of coordinates to honor the resting place.
Blended Memorial Service
A thoughtful combination of both options — an intimate inshore flower tribute with family present, followed by a private offshore scattering. This allows loved ones to participate meaningfully while we handle the offshore portion on your behalf.

Memorial at Sea – Frequently Asked Questions
Our Memorials at Sea services are designed to provide families with a private, respectful, and meaningful time on the water. We handle the details with care so you can focus on remembrance, reflection, and honoring your loved one.
How many people can I bring?
We can accommodate up to 6 passengers total, and infants and children do count toward that passenger limit per U.S. Coast Guard regulations.
What is included in the Memorial at Sea service?
Your 3-hour attended memorial includes:
A licensed and insured captain and crew member
A bamboo urn for dignified and easy transport
Fresh flowers for the ceremony
Photo and video documentation of the service
Filing of all required EPA paperwork
Compassionate guidance throughout the planning process
Every detail is handled with care to ensure the experience is meaningful and stress-free for your family.
How far offshore do you go?
For ash scatterings, we travel approximately 3 miles offshore, as required by EPA regulations. After the service, you will receive a certificate with the exact GPS coordinates of the location.
If traveling that distance offshore feels uncomfortable for your group, our Blended Memorial Ceremony may be a better option. This service allows for an inshore flower release near the shoreline, providing a beautiful and meaningful tribute while accommodating those who prefer to remain closer to land. We are happy to help you decide which option feels right for your family.
What should we bring?
You are welcome to bring personal items, readings, music, or small meaningful touches to make the ceremony your own. We will guide you through the process to ensure everything flows smoothly and respectfully.
